1943 - Authentic Evening Press Newspapers on World War II
The Germans set up an attack base on the island of Guernsey ( in the Channel between England & France ) during the 2nd World War. This was the closest place to England that the Germans were able to conquer. And it's from this small island that this group of daily newspapers come from. As the people of Guernsey were under German domination, much of what appeared in these newspapers was Nazi propaganda.
This selection is exclusively from the years of occupation - a unique find !
