Operation Crossroads
This film documents the atomic bomb tests at Bikini Island in the Pacific. First you get to see a text bomb explode above the water. Then in the next test you watch as an underwater bomb explodes. The military actually brought pigs and goats to the site to test the effects of radiation. The film is a somewhat disturbing yet fascinating look at the first atomic weapons ever detonated.
