Lorica Segmenta (Stainless Steel)

Wearable Lorica Segmentata - This wearable reenactment Lorica Segmentata is a historically accurate reproduction of the Roman armor that consisted of: Lorica Segmentata - Roman steel plates articulated armour, held jointly together by leather straps. It was first used at the end of the 1st Century BC, and continued to be in use with the Roman army until the middle of the 3rd Century AD. It is probably best known from the spiral reliefs on Trajan's Column in Rome. The term was itself coined only in the 16th century. The first recognisable fragments were excavated at Bad Deutch- Altenburg in Austria
