When General Winfield
Scott was "parroted",
he ordered the War
Department to develop
a 10 & 20 pound
cannon to rid
Washington D.C. of
the parrot and
parakeet minis. Five
years later his famed
parrot gun would
become one of the
most deadly cannons
of the Civil War.
This Miniature Cannon
is mounted on a wood
slat base measuring
8" x 7". This replica
civil war cannon has
a 5" resin barrel, a
stack of 4 cannon
balls, a bucket of
grape shot and powder
keg. Base: 8" x 7"
