Spartan Lakonian - Sword

There isn't any doubt that the Spartan Army was one of the toughest on record. Although all of the city states of Greece valued honor, toughness, loyalty and fighting ability, the Spartans made it almost a religion and devoted themselves to being the best of the best.

This is a beautiful copy of a Spartan short sword taken from the book "The Spartan Army". This is a potent weapon that would be superb in the brutality of ancient hand-to-hand combat.

The leaf shaped blade is high carbon steel. Grip is bronze, with a wooden scabbard covered in leather. A very effective close combat short sword. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts.

Overall Length: 19.25"; Blade length: 14.5"; Blade width: 2 and three eigths of an inch wide; Weight: 2 lbs.
