Great Helm

Worn with large amounts of padding or worn over a smaller helmet, it was almost impossible to penetrate. Few great helms have survived the centuries. This one is copied from one shown frequently in old illustrations and monuments.

Crafted of 18 gauge steel with reinforced sights and riveted welded sections. It also features a ring on the top that was used for securing decorative attachments like a ladies favor.

Measures roughly 15" tall. Weight: 5 lbs. 8 oz. Circa 1350 A.D.
